Nuno joined Group Banif to start-up Banif Banco de Investimento. As Deputy CEO and global head of capital markets (USA; LATAM and Europe) he oversaw Capital Markets, Securitization and all the distribution platforms.
During the 90s, he worked at Banco Finantia as Executive Director. Nuno´s professional experience in Finantia included several different investment banking areas: Asset Management, ALM, and Derivatives Capital Markets.
Nuno Teixeira has a Degree in Management and Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and did two Internship at SBC London (now UBS) and Salomon Brothers NY (now Citibank).
Fátima has over 20 years of experience in the Financial Markets.
In 2000 she joined Banif Banco de Investimento. Fatima held different positions within the Group: from Head of Sales and Trading to Head of Equity. Before that she joined Ascor Dealer (the 1st Brokerage Firm in Portugal) to start-up the International Institutional Equity Sales Desk.
Fatima started her career in 1991 in Wall Street as a stockbroker for Shearson Lehman Brothers.
From 2008 to 2012 she was a Board Member of the Portuguese Investment Association.
Fatima holds a business degree, cum laude, from Manhattan College in New York, with a major in Finance. In 1998/1999 attended the MBA program of Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Finance.
Carlos has over 25 years of professional experience in Capital Markets, and has worked in Lisbon, London, S. Paulo and Luanda.
In 2009 Carlos joined Standard Bank in Angola as Head of Global Markets responsible for the Treasury and the bank´s investment portfolio.
Between 2009 and 2011 he was a member of the Executive Committee of Banif Banco de Investimento Brasil in charge of Treasury and Fixed Income markets.
He joined Banif Group back in 2000 where he worked in the Capital Markets Division, Treasury and Asset Management with a particular focus in fixed income, credit and emerging markets.
Carlos began his career at Ernst & Whinney before joining Unilever, Fincor and Banco Finantia.
He graduated in Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon and holds an MBA in Finance from CASS Business School in London.
João is the Managing Partner in charge of Origination, Negotiation & Financial Analysis.
João has began his career at the Asset Management department of BANIF, Banco de Investimento (Investment Bank) and he was after invited to integrate the Project Finance & Corporate Finance to SME´s department in BANCO BPI.
João has started his international professional experience in Luxembourg in the Product Development and Incubation Division (PDI) of the EUROPEAN INVESTMENT FUND and then joined WESTLB AG, in Madrid working in the Structured Finance department as an Associate Director.
João holds an MBA from the IE BUSINESS SCHOOL and a specialization in Business Analysis and Valuation from LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS and has over 10 years of international experience in the finance industry, covering areas such as Asset Management, Project Finance & Corporate Finance, Risk Management and Product Development & Structured Finance.
Debora is the responsible of the Asset Management department of DUO Capital, in charge of ensuring business growth through directing and managing operations activities to ensure those are delivered in accordance with the company´s strategy.
With over 15 years of international experience in the finance industry, Debora started her career at IBM Iberia, as Campaign Strategist in Portugal and Spain, being invited to join DEUTSCHE BANK Portugal in 2000 as Marketing & Product Manager of the Auto Renting business, later acquired by the SOCIÉTÉ GÉNÉRALE Group, where she developed her international experience at ALD International, in Paris.
With a Master Degree in Business Administration from NOVA (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), and a Advanced Certificate in Marketing Management Practice from CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing – UK), Debora has a wide experience in CRM development and call centers management, conciliated with Business Development activities.
Tânia is responsible for the Finance, HR and Audit & Compliance departments of DUO Capital.
Tânia started her career in KPMG where she was Manager of Tax department, being responsible for Tax Audit and Consultancy projects. After, Tânia was invited to join a Portuguese SME company, FLEETGLOBAL, as the Finance Manager, assisting Managing Directors with the international expansion to Spain, Italy, Germany and UK.
Tânia joined SERVDEBT in January 2011, as the CFO, responsible for the supervision of Finance, HR, as well as the Financial Analysis, Audit and Control & Compliance departments. During her experience, she has controlled the management of around €1,5B of assets.
With a Master Degree in Tax and International Accounting Standards, a degree in Management from ISCTE and as member of the Portuguese Chartered Accountants Association (OTOC), Tânia has over 15 years experience in the finance industry.
The simplified organic structure of the company allows it to act quickly in the selection of the best investment opportunities.

Expand Alternative Investments focuses in three main areas: Origination, Investment, Servicing.
EAI’s management team seeks opportunities in a broad range of NPAs, namely in nonperforming, commercial and financial loans. The attention is focused on the financial sector and SMEs across Portugal. Additionally, EAI’s has in place several commercial agreements with relevant market players.
EAI invests primarily in nonperforming assets. Additionally, and following specific guidelines, the company also invests in other income generating assets such as capital mezzanine and real estate.
The investment can be done on a stand-alone basis or through co-investment, where EAI invests alongside other national and international institutions.
